摘要:
We propose the maximin efficiency robust test (MERT) for multiple nuisance parameters based on theories about the maximin efficiency robust test for only one nuisance parameter and investigate some theoretical properties about this robust test. We explore some theoretical properties about the power of the MERT for multiple nuisance parameters in a specified scenario intuitively further more. We also propose a meaningful example from statistical genetic field to which the MERT for multiple nuisance parameters can be well applied. Extensive simulation studies are conducted to testify the robustness of the MERT for multiple nuisance parameters.

In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions to the following Schrodinger system: where N = 1; 2; 3; V_1(x) and V_2(x) are positive and continuous, but may not be well-shaped; and μ_1(x), μ_2(x) and β(x) are continuous, but may not be positive or anti-well-shaped. We prove that the system has a positive solution when the coefficients V_i(x), μ_i(x) (i = 1; 2) and β(x) satisfy some additional conditions.

This paper studies a maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) of the parameter for a continuous one-parameter exponential family under ranked set sampling (RSS). The authors first find the optimal RSS according to the character of the family, viz, arrange the RSS based on quasi complete and sufficient statistic of independent and identically distributed (iid) samples. Then under this RSS, some sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the MLE, which are easily used in practice, are obtained. Using these conditions, the existence and uniqueness of the MLEs of the parameters for some usual distributions in this family are proved. Numerical simulations for these distributions fully support the result from the above two step optimizations of the sampling and the estimation method.

In this paper, we study the issue of admissibility of linear estimated functions of parameters in the multivariate linear model with respect to inequality constraints under a matrix loss and a matrix balanced loss. Under the matrix loss, when the model is not constrained, the results in the class of non-homogeneous linear estimators [Xie, 1989, Chinese Sci. Bull., 1148-1149; Xie, 1993, J. Multivariate Anal., 1071-1074] showed that the admissibility under the matrix loss and the trace loss is equivalent. However, when the model is constrained by the inequality constraints, we find this equivalency is not tenable, our result shows that the admissibility of linear estimator does not depend on the constraints again under this matrix loss, but it is contrary under the trace loss [Wu, 2008, Linear Algebra Appl., 2040-2048], and it is also relative to the constraints under another matrix loss [He, 2009, Linear Algebra Appl., 241-250]. Under the matrix balanced loss, the necessary and sufficient conditions that the linear estimators are admissible in the class of homogeneous and non-homogeneous linear estimators are obtained, respectively. These results will support the theory of admissibility on the linear model with inequality constraints.

摘要:
The edges between vertices in networks take not only the common binary values, but also the ordered values in some situations (e.g., the measurement of the relationship between people from worst to best in social networks). In this paper, the authors study the asymptotic property of the moment estimator based on the degrees of vertices in ordered networks whose edges are ordered random variables. In particular, the authors establish the uniform consistency and the asymptotic normality of the moment estimator when the number of parameters goes to infinity. Simulations and a real data example are provided to illustrate asymptotic results.

How to obtain an effective design is a major concern of scientific research. This topic always involves high-dimensional inputs with limited resources. The foldover is a quick and useful technique in construction of fractional designs, which typically releases aliased factors or interactions. This paper takes the wrap-around L_2-discrepancy as the optimality measure to assess the optimal three-level combined designs. New and efficient analytical expressions and lower bounds of the wraparound L_2-discrepancy for three-level combined designs are obtained. The new lower bound is useful and sharper than the existing lower bound. Using the new analytical expression and lower bound as the benchmarks, the authors may implement an effective algorithm for constructing optimal three-level combined designs.

在燃用较高水分煤种的系统中,将原煤预干燥系统和烟气高效余热利用系统结合,能够在提高进入锅炉热量的同时充分实现能的梯级利用,缓解换热设备的低温腐蚀,进一步提高机组的经济性和安全性。为研究高效烟气余热利用系统与原煤预干燥系统结合对系统效率的影响,文章建立了干燥机、制粉系统的热平衡模型,在此基础上以国内某典型百万千瓦超超临界燃煤机组为案例,对带原煤预干燥的高效烟气余热利用系统进行了热力学计算,详细分析了系统的能量分布及经济性能,并对原煤的干燥程度对烟气酸露点和空气预热器选型的影响进行了讨论。结果表明:该系统在锅炉最大连续蒸发量(boiler maximum continuous rating,BMCR)工况下,将原煤由18.1%水分干燥至8%水分时,能够降低发电煤耗6.56g/(k W·h),较采用低温省煤器的常规余热利用系统发电煤耗降低5.74g/(k W·h),与此同时,烟气的酸露点温度、空气预热器的空气流量及换热量均有一定程度的下降,机组经济性和运行安全性均有较大幅度提高。

We study the bound states to nonlinear Schrodinger equations with electromagnetic fields ${\text{i}}h\frac{{\partial \psi }}{{\partial t}} = {\left( {\frac{h}{i}\nabla - A\left( x \right)} \right)^2}\psi + V\left( x \right)\psi - K\left( x \right)|\psi {|^{p - 1}}\psi = 0$, on ${\mathbb{R}_ + } \times {\mathbb{R}^N}$. Let $G\left( x \right) = {\left[ {V\left( x \right)} \right]^{\frac{{p + 1}}{{p - 1}} - \frac{N}{2}}}{\left[ {K\left( x \right)} \right]^{ - \frac{2}{{p - 1}}}}$ and suppose that $G\left( x \right)$ has $k$ local minimum points. For $h > 0$ small, we find multi-bump bound states ${\psi _h}\left( {x,t} \right) = {e^{ - iEt/h}}{u_h}\left( x \right)$ with ${u_h}$ concentrating at the local minimum points of $G\left( x \right)$ simultaneously as $h \to 0$. The potentials $V\left( x \right)$ and $K\left( x \right)$ are allowed to be either compactly supported or unbounded at infinity.

摘要:
Doubling is a simple but powerful method of constructing two-level fractional factorial designs with high resolution. This article studies uniformity in terms of Lee discrepancy of double designs. We give some linkages between the uniformity of double design and the aberration case of the original one under different criteria. Furthermore, some analytic linkages between the generalized wordlength pattern of double design and that of the original one are firstly provided here, which extend the existing findings. The lower bound of Lee discrepancy for double designs is also given.

The foldover is a quick and useful technique in construction of fractional factorial designs, which typically releases aliased factors or interactions. The issue of employing the uniformity criterion measured by the centered L_2-discrepancy to assess the optimal foldover plans was studied for four-level design. A new analytical expression and a new lower bound of the centered L_2-discrepancy for fourlevel combined design under a general foldover plan are respectively obtained. A necessary condition for the existence of an optimal foldover plan meeting this lower bound was described. An algorithm for searching the optimal four-level foldover plans is also developed. Illustrative examples are provided, where numerical studies lend further support to our theoretical results. These results may help to provide some powerful and efficient algorithms for searching the optimal four-level foldover plans.

For non-negative integers i, j and k, we denote the generalized net as N_(i,j,k), which is a triangle with disjoint paths of length i, j and k, attached to distinct vertices of the triangle. In this paper, we prove that every 3-connected {K_(1,3),N_(8–i,i,1)}-free graph is hamiltonian, where 1 ≤ i ≤ 4.

Let G = (V_1,V_2,E) be a balanced bipartite graph with 2n vertices. The bipartite binding number of G, denoted by B(G), is defined to be n if G =K_n and min min | N(S) | / | S | otherwise. We call G bipancyclic if it contains a cycle of every even length m for 4≤m≤2n. A theorem showed that if G is a balanced bipartite graph with 2n vertices, B(G)>3 / 2 and n≥139, then G is bipancyclic. This paper generalizes the conclusion as follows: Let 0<c<3 / 2 and G be a 2-connected balanced bipartite graph with 2n (n is large enough) vertices such that B(G)≥c and δ (G)≥(2 - c)n / (3 - c) + 2 / 3. Then G is bipancyclic.

In this article, we are concerned with the stability of stationary solution for outflow problem on the Navier-Stokes-Poisson system. We obtain the unique existence and the asymptotic stability of stationary solution. Moreover, the convergence rate of solution towards stationary solution is obtained. Precisely, if an initial perturbation decays with the algebraic or the exponential rate in space, the solution converges to the corresponding stationary solution as time tends to infinity with the algebraic or the exponential rate in time. The proof is based on the weighted energy method by taking into account the effect of the self-consistent electric field on the viscous compressible fluid.
