摘要:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of blended learning and traditional learning on students' learning achievements and academic press. A quasi-experiment study was conducted using a sample of 104 sophomores in a university in central China for three months. While students in the experimental group employed the blended learning approach, students in the control group employed the traditional learning approach. Students' pre- and post-tests and surveys showed that the students with the blended learning approach had a higher achievement in the pedagogy basis course than did the students with the traditional learning approach, while no significant difference was found on students' academic press between the two approaches. Further analysis showed there was a statistically significant relationship between students' learning achievements and academic press. The discussion and conclusion were included.

The smart classroom is the materialization of the wisdom learning environment which provides technical support for the development of teaching and learning. Technology-enhanced assessment is helpful for improving learners' high-order thinking skills. In this paper, a rubric based technology-enhanced assessment approach is proposed to help students design research proposal and draw mind map, evaluate peers' works and modify their own works. To evaluate the performance of the rubric-based technology enhanced assessment approach for improving students' meta cognitive awareness and learning achievement, an experiment was conducted in a college. A total of 83 students participating in the experiment were assigned to an experimental group and a control group. The students in the experimental group used the rubrics before designing the research proposal and mind map, while those in the control group used the rubrics after finishing them. From the experimental results, it was found that giving the rubrics before designing the research proposal and mind map significantly improved the students' meta cognitive awareness and learning achievement and reduced the students' cognitive load.

摘要:
Tujia brocade is a typical brocade of ethnic groups in China and also known as "Xilankapu", or "Knitting Floral Bedspread". It was listed in the directory of National Intangible Heritages of China in 2006. However, due to the impact of the way of Tujia brocade craft inheritance and other factors, Tujia brocade craft is increasingly declining. So it is urgent to strengthen the digital protection of Tujia brocade, this paper tries to carry out discussion and study of the key movements of Tujia brocade craft. And it puts forward a new method in intangible culture heritage protection based on unmarked motion capture technique. It captures the key actions of twelve processes of Tujia brocade craft combined with Kinect and Leap Motion and establishes a motion data set of Tujia brocade. In addition, virtual representation of Tujia brocade craft is realized by three-dimensional animation technology. Thus the research causes quite great practical effect on digital protection of Tujia brocade.

With smart education and deep learning becoming the main trend, deep knowledge building plays more and more important role in the development of students' higher-order ability. This study explored students' knowledge development and collaborative knowledge building during their inquiry process by way of evaluation rubric in the smart classroom. The participants were 116 elementary students from two fifth grade classes in central China. Results indicated that evaluation rubric can promote students' inquiry. Students with the help of the rubric achieved the deep level of knowledge building. What's more, the students' collaborative knowledge building were influenced by their meta cognition and learning motivation. Implications of the exploratory study and future research are discussed.

With data accumulating rapidly in education, it is possible for researchers to predict students' academic performance. Among the prediction models, the machine learning model is outstanding. In this study, the model based on ensemble algorithm, AdaBoost was proposed to predict the classes of students. Experiments were carried out to compare the model to other models such as decision tree, neural network, random forests and SVM. The results showed the model presented the best prediction performance.

Tujia brocade (Xi lan ka pu) is a kind of traditional handcraft brocade which was listed in the first batch of non-material cultural heritage of China. It has become a popular trend to promote non-material cultural heritage with digital technology. Personalization recommendation for Tujia brocade culture resources could push new knowledge and something the user interested in, which could improve the efficiency of knowledge searching. The purpose of this paper is to realize personalization recommendation of Tujia brocade culture resources via using the hybrid recommendation technology, which was combined collaborative filtering with content filtering. Initially, we establish a set of basic culture resource databases for Tujia brocade, including user information database, preference pattern database, and build the user model and resource model. We then match the user preferences and the specific characteristics of Tujia brocade cultural resources through the description of resource characteristic. We finally choose the resources with high similarity and recommends to users, so as to realize the personalized recommendation for Tujia brocade culture resources.

With the rapid development of Internet technology, big data has become more and more frequently mentioned. How to use the latest technology to dig valuable information from big data has become a hot topic. In this paper, online learning analysis platform based on education big data integrated the acquisition and analysis of students' data. It allowed teacher to teach online, students and students to learn online. At the meantime, it would gather students' data automatically and filter out effective data based on some requirements. Finally, it would analyze data using learning analysis technology and give teacher a feedback of the analysis results. This system would assist teachers more targeted teaching activities.

摘要:
The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the digital citizenship behavior of college students from differing socioeconomic regions of origin. Data was collected with the Digital Citizenship Scale from 712 college students in central China. The results showed students from higher socioeconomic regions of origin displayed more appropriate digital citizenship behaviors than students from lower socioeconomic regions of origin, even when students possess similar levels of computer usage. Findings indicated a case for second-level digital divide, whereby the meaning and consequences of technology usage differ despite having similar access.

摘要:
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between students’ computer self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, attitude, and satisfaction in blended learning environments. The participants were 239 college students enrolled at Hubei University in China. A survey including four existing instruments was used for data collection. The results of structural equation modeling analysis suggested students’ attitudes toward online and face-to-face classes were the most influential toward to satisfaction in blended learning environments. Higher levels of intrinsic motivation were seen to be influential toward satisfaction in blended learning environments. Computer self-efficacy was seen to influence intrinsic motivation and attitudes, but not found to influence satisfaction in blended learning environments.

To get rid of durance of distribution environment on Tujia Brocade dissemination and provide a more comprehensive and immersive learning environment of Tujia brocade, this paper designs a system on Tujia Brocade cultural coordinate panorama display based on touch screen, and establishes panoramic scenes which takes the birthplace of Tujia brocade named Lao Chehe village as the cultural coordinates of Tujia brocade. What's more, the system has ten panoramic scenes, which completes following functions: viewpoint control, scenes shifting, hotspot information, touch operation and voice explanation. Users can have real-time interaction with ecological panorama of Tujia Brocade Laoche village in the scene, this will contribute to the digital protection and social dissemination of Tujia brocade.

As the first batch of intangible cultural heritage of China, Tujia brocade craft is facing the danger of losing, and it is extremely urgent to conduct digital protection for Tujia brocade by using information technology solutions. The multi-touch Tujia brocade virtual weaving system was designed and implemented with the multi-touch technology based on this situation. It displays the tools and key processes of Tujia brocade craft, and it designs experience weaving module to deepen the public's understanding of Tujia brocade culture; help them to identify the basic processes of Tujia brocade craft, and master the basic skills, so that it can play an educational role in intangible cultural heritage protection.

As educational informatization develops continuously, blended learning has become the focus of increasing amount of research works. Among these studies, researchers indicate that collaborative learning, as an important teaching strategy, is of great effectiveness in promoting students’ learning performance either in E-learning or classroom teaching. However, due to the fact that different students may have different learning styles, it is crucial for teachers to take this factor into consideration. Therefore, to enhance the validity of grouping in collaborative learning, this paper proposes a grouping strategy based on the analysis results of students’ learning styles using K-Means and hierarchical clustering. Results of clustering analysis can provide a valuable reference no matter for homogeneous grouping or heterogeneous grouping.

Currently, blended learning has become an innovative learning model, which can improve learners' learning effect, expand learners' learning opportunities, enhance interaction between teachers and students, and support learners' self-regulated. The key to develop an effective blended learning is to provide learning support service. The paper advocates that the blended learning mainly needs the support of resource, environment, personnel, teaching method and platform. In addition, the online open courses can provide a solid learning support service with its rich learning resources, stable environment, multi-personnel participation, diversified teaching methods and multi-channel service platform. All these can ensure the smooth development of blended learning.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between personality types and vocational choices in terms of educational technology undergraduates and postgraduates in China. A valid sample of 209 undergraduates and 194 postgraduates responded to the research instrument, including 8 items about vocational choices and the Personal Globe Inventory-Short which was employed to measure personality types. The important findings included: (1) the three-letter personality code of both educational technology undergraduates and postgraduates was identified as SAE (i.e., Social, Artistic and Enterprising); (2) significant differences were found between educational technology undergraduates and postgraduates in terms of several vocational choices, and undergraduates showed lower major persistence than postgraduates; (3) realistic personality type was found to be significant positive predictor of most of the vocational choices of educational technology undergraduates; (4) educational technology postgraduates who are interested in realistic activities showed little interests in educational technology, whereas the social personality type express much interests. Finally, several suggestions have been provided for undergraduates, postgraduates, academic advisor, and high school students who choose and intend to choose educational technology as academic major.

With the development of technology, mobile device is becoming more and more popular, which encouraged an increasing number of researches about mobile learning. Students could study breaking through the limitations of time and space. This study proposed a peer assessment-based mobile learning approach to improve the learning achievement of students. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed learning approach, an experiment was conducted in an elementary school. The experiment group learned with peer assessment-based mobile learning approach, the control group learned with teacher assessment-based mobile learning approach. The results show that the proposed learning approach could improve students' learning achievement effectively, and motivate students' learning interest.

Object tracking is one of the most important components in many applications of computer vision. Among numerous methods developed in recent years, correlation filter based trackers have aroused increasing interests and have achieved extremely compelling results in different competitions and benchmarks. In this paper, we propose a novel approach based on correlation filter framework for robust scale estimation through deep learning features. Experiments are performed on benchmark sequences with occlusion, background clutter, pose change and significant scale variations. Our results show that the proposed algorithm performs favorably against state-of-the-art methods in terms of accuracy and robustness.
