With the rapid development of the information society, both the producers of teaching resources and students are facing enormous challenges. In this context, a recommendation system that can connect the producers and students of teaching resources to achieve a win-win situation is proposed. Collaborative filtering is currently the most successful recommendation technique. In this article the authors firstly introduced the collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm from the angle of user-based, project-based and model-based algorithms. Then they studied the current popular SVD and RBM recommendation algorithms mainly by comparing the experimental results of the basic project-based, SVD and RBM algorithms on the public data set movielens, and pointed out that the recommendation system will be a real-time, multi-modal trend in the age of educational informatization. The rapid development of education informatization has made MOOC, micro-classes and other teaching resources mainly relying on video resources to grow rapidly. The collaborative filtering recommendation algorithm expects to associate the most suitable high-quality resources with the most needed students.

In order to analyze facial expression in human-computer interaction, real time face-tracking has become significant research problem. Traditional face tracking methods have achieved good results in some constrained environments (such as good illumination, no background interference, etc.) However,these methods require to design manual facial features depending on researcher's experience. In addition,lacking ability for generalization problems is worthy of study. The robustness of face tracking in complex scenes is challenging due to fast moving, multi-scale changes, rotation and occlusion, illumination changes, etc. In view of the above considerations, this paper proposes an improved method based on Siamese-Net to optimize for face tracking tasks. Our work mainly includes four aspects. First, the first two convolutional layers of deeper VGG-16 are used to extract feature.So we call our method Siamese-VGG. Second, we report experiment on face tracking using a pre-trained VGG-Face model which is trained by 2.6M images for face recognition and then fine-tuning to acceleration convergence.Third, in this research the same size crops are input to two branches in the framework and then the inner smaller template feature maps are extracted during training.The proposed method in this paper reduce offset losses by this way. Finally, L2 regularization add to the loss function to improve the generalization ability of the model. The experiment results show better robustness and generalization performance over the original algorithm. In complex scenes, the proposed improved method have achieved the great improvements by almost 11% on average overlap.But,the frame rate of improved method is still 18.5fps on the Nvidia GTX1070Ti GPU.The improved method proposed in this paper is more practical in terms of speed and accuracy.

摘要:
The delivery course enables students in rural schools in China to enjoy high-quality education resources as well as urban students. As in online learning, there is a lack of students' perceived presence in the delivery course. In this study, six teachers and their students in the delivery course were surveyed, interviewed and observed to explore the relevant factors that influence the students' perceived presence. The results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the students' perceived presence and the teacher's experience, and a significant negative correlation with the grade. When the class size was between 10 and 20, the students' perceived presence was the highest. The students' perceived presence had no significant correlation with the students' gender and discipline. Based on the data of interviews and observations, this study also summarized three strategies to develop students' perceived presence.

摘要:
Many types of data exhibit characteristic of rotational symmetry. Chemical Organic Ring Structure(ORS) Symbol is such a case. In this paper, we focus on offline handwritten chemical ORS Symbols recognition using convolutional neural networks(CNNs), from application point of view, in order to relax the inconvenience and ineffectiveness of the traditional click-and-drag style of interaction when input chemical notations into electronic devices; from scientific point of view, to explore the capacity of rotation invariance of CNNs using data augmentation. We propose a VGGNet-based classifier for offline handwritten chemical ORS Symbols. To evaluate it, a new dataset of 3600 samples are collected of which 90% is for training while 10% is for test. The recognition accuracy is 84.3% with VGGNet-16 and 92.4% with VGGNet-19.

摘要:
Crowdfunding and crowdsourcing in digital education service has become an important content in educational informatization. Different personalized demands from learners for digital education service are increasing day by day, which leads to the asymmetry between supply and demand. This paper aims to solve the asymmetry of supply and demand in education sector under the SISC ecology model based on value chain theory, and also to elaborate the ecology environment in digital education service, as well as the subject and content of crowdfunding and crowdsourcing. Block chain is the protection mechanism for the rights of subject, which improves the development of personalized education. Empirical study and qualitative analysis are used to fulfill the effectiveness of SISC ecology model of CFCS in DES. A case of "Parallel" successfully recommends 10 resources that suitable for the students, which proves the feasibility of the SISC ecology model so as to improve the motivations of CFCS subjects and student' satisfaction. This paper also supports future research by developing a framework for crowdfunding and crowdsourcing in digital education service.

Online academic reading assessments can test graduate students' reading ability, while the results of tests as a feedback can help students reflect on their own ability, realize their weaknesses, and then take actions to improve their ability. These behaviors form the basis of self-regulated learning ability. In this paper, a negotiated online reading assessment system is developed to provide students with the function of self-assessment and reflection. For designing the system, the authors use the concept of a negotiated learner model, so that students may negotiate with the system and try to reach an agreement. In order to explore the differences in students' learning behaviors in such a system, the authors used the hidden Markov Model to construct the behavioral model of students' self-regulated learning ability. Furthermore, the authors differentiated the negotiation behaviors of students with high and low self-regulated learning ability in the reading assessment system. The results showed that the students in the high and low self-regulated learning ability groups shared the behaviors of peer comparison and retesting. The high selfregulated learning group tended to transit among retesting, peer comparison, test reflection, and self-assessment. The students in the low self-regulated learning group tended to transit among retesting, peer comparison, viewing grades, and self-reflection. The results indicated that the students tended to re-test to negotiate with the system, and that the students in the high self-regulated learning group may reflect on learning through negotiation and further plan their learning strategies.

Reading as a key skill in learning has always received much attention. However, in traditional reading, students passively accept the knowledge taught by teachers, reading still remains superficial, lacking the experience of personal emotions, in-depth thinking and the cultivation of creative thinking, thus lacking deep dialogue between people and texts. In addition, the psychological state of the reading process is difficult to capture, and can only be detected from the final score, thus lacking a deep dialogue between people. In recent years, the deep integration of information technology and education has brought vitality to education. In order to break the predicament of reading teaching. This paper explores a visual reading teaching model supported by a smart environment, which aims to strengthen the deep dialogue of multiple objects in the reading course, so as to achieve the purpose of deep reading.

This paper presents a double channel 3D convolution neural network to classify the exam scenes of invigilation videos. The first channel is based on the C3D convolution neural network, which is the status-of-arts method of the video scene classification. The structure of this channel is redesigned for classifying the exam-room scenes of invigilation videos. Another channel is based on the two-stream convolution neural network using the optical flow graph sequence as its input. This channel uses the data from the optical flow of video to improve the performance of the video scene classification. The formed double channel 3D convolution neural network has appropriate size of convolution kernel and pooling kernel design. Experiments show that the proposed neural network can classify the exam-room scenes of invigilation videos faster and more accurately than the existing methods.

摘要:
Research to date has been controversial with regard to the effectiveness of interactive whiteboard-based classroom instructions on student learning outcomes. The purpose of the present study was to identify high-quality empirical publications that examine the learning outcomes of students and to utilize meta-analyses to determine the overall effectiveness of interactive whiteboard-based instructions. A total of 23 studies were included in this systematic review. The calculated effect size showed that interactive whiteboard-based instructions can positively influence students' cognitive learning outcomes compared to traditional lectures. Moderator variable analysis suggests that the pedagogical approach and the year of publication significantly moderate the effectiveness of interactive whiteboard-based classroom instruction. These results indicate that the interactive whiteboard-based instructional model proves mature reliable Idler several years of application in educational environments, and it helps students to improve their cognitive learning across all currently available interdisciplinary research reports. The interactive whiteboard-based was also found to he more effective when instructors integrate active or collaborative pedagogical approaches.

摘要:
This paper proposes a Progressive Pose-Normalization Generative Adversarial Network (PPN-GAN) for frontal face synthesis and face recognition. The key idea is to normalize a profile face progressively: starting from inferring an intermediate face that has a small view difference to the profile face, and then increasing the view difference step by step, until the frontal view of the profile face is recovered. In addition to the progressive strategy, an additional identity discriminator and identity-aware losses in both the image and feature spaces are also incorporated into the GAN for identity preserving. Experimental results show that our method not only produces compelling perceptual results but also outperforms the state-of-the-art methods on face recognition under large-pose.

Since the advent of video games, its powerful interactivity and simulation have attracted the attention of all walks of life, and the "educational video games" formed by the combination of education and video games has also set off in-depth research and exploration by scholars at home and abroad. This paper sorts out the relevant literature from 2008 to 2017 by searching the literature on educational video games in Web of Science and using the methods of bibliometrics and visual analysis. This paper compares the distribution of published time, high-yield research institutions and high-yield researchers, in the educational video game field between China and the United States. Then it reveals the hotspots and development trends of educational video game research in the past ten years. Finally, it summarizes the differences in between China and the United States and gives suggestions for targeted development in the field of educational video games.

This study examined the effects of educational WeChat official accounts from five main aspects of users' behavior and learning process: recognizing, following, reading, sharing and learning/reflecting. Two factors important to the effects of educational WeChat official accounts were identified: users' gratifications and features of educational WeChat official accounts. The results of this study indicated that both the degree of users' gratifications and features of educational WeChat official accounts were positively related to the effects of educational WeChat official accounts.

This study utilized a three-step approach for developing and validating an information literacy assessment tool for primary students. Firstly, 52 multiple-choice items were devised as the item pool based on the existing information literacy evaluation indicators system. After gathering feedbacks from the experts and teachers, 49 items were retained to form the pilot test items of the information literacy assessment tool. Then, pilot test was conducted among 323 students of 4th and 5th grades from four primary schools in a district of central China region. The analyses of item difficulty, item discrimination, Rasch model were employed to validate the information literacy assessment tool. Finally, 37 items were retained as reliable and valid to measure primary students' information literacy.

In order to explore the relationships among learning performance, field independent-dependent cognitive styles and teaching modes, and to test what kind of cognitive styles are suitable for what kind of teaching modes, an experimental study was conducted on 90 college students. Participants were assigned to one of three teaching modes: traditional classroom, online learning, and flipped classroom. Outcomes were assessed in terms of learning achievement, reaction time during test-taking, and learning satisfaction. The results showed that (1) There were significant differences in the influence of the three teaching modes on learning achievement, reaction time and learning satisfaction. (2) Students with a field-independent cognitive style showed a faster reaction time during test-taking than those with a field-dependent style. (3) The interaction between cognitive style and teaching modes was significantly related to reaction time. So, in future education, we should attach importance to the matching of teaching modes and individual differences.

摘要:
This study proposes an analytic approach which combines two predictive models (the predictive model of successful students and the predictive model of at-risk students) to enhance prediction performance for use under the constraints of limited data collection. A case study was conducted to examine the effects of the model combination approach. Eight variables were collected from a data warehouse and the Learning Management System. The best model was selected based on the lowest misclassification rate in the validation dataset. The confusion matrix compares the model's performance with the following parameters: accuracy, misclassification, and sensitivity. The results show the new combination approach can capture more at-risk students than the singular predictive model, and is only suitable for the ensemble predictive algorithms.

Correlating massive resources with knowledge points can help to achieve effective aggregation of resources and to improve learners learning efficiency and learning experience. This paper proposes a result integration mechanism based on the crowd wisdom to determine the association of learning resources and knowledge points, and ensure the final annotation result has certain credibility. Accordingly, we propose a user confidence to evaluate the user's ability to complete the tasks. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithms improve the accuracy and efficiency comparing with the majority voting method, and algorithm to estimate user's confidence can converge to actual value efficiently.
