摘要:
In recent years, immersive interactive technologies are becoming more and more mature. A large number of schools actively carry out virtual experimental teaching and establish virtual laboratories. As a kind of immersive interactive technology, virtual reality technology is attracting increasing attention in education. This paper describes the characteristics of immersive VR, hardware and software types, summarizes the different forms of VR used in teaching and discusses the principles of biological virtual experiment construction in other research. Taking the teaching content of ‘structure of eyeball’ in middle school biology textbook as a case, this research designs and develops a virtual experiment courseware - Miraculous eyeball. The research suggests that to construct outstanding teaching experiments of VR not only needs mature equipment and technologies but also requires a combination of decent teaching theories and tactics.

摘要:
In an actual electronic health record (EHR), patient notes are written with terse language and clinical jargons. However, most Pseudo Relevance Feedback (PRF) technique methods do not take into account the significant degree of candidate term in feedback documents and the co-occurrence relationship between a candidate term and a query term simultaneously. In this paper, we study how to incorporate proximity information into the Rocchio's model, and propose a HAL-based Rocchio's model, called HRoc. A new concept of term proximity feedback weight is introduced to model in the query expansion. Then, we propose three normalization methods to incorporate proximity information. Experimental results on 2016 TREC Clinical Support Medicine collections show that our proposed models are effective and generally superior to the state-of-the-art relevance feedback models.

Small private online courses (SPOCs) have drawn widespread attention due to their adaptability to blended learning in formal education. As a type of interactive tool, many SPOC forums have stored rich textual data including focused learning content and feedback. However, currently, this information is used mainly for measuring students' activity levels instead of academic emotion and their evolutionary trends throughout a teaching period. This paper presents an unsupervised forum understanding model, namely the temporal emotion-topic model (TETM), to model time jointly with emotions and topics. This model is applied to track the evolutionary trends of pairs of {emotion, topic}, i.e., emot-topics. Especially, for each emotion, the most significant topic can be extracted and tracked across a semester. Finally, we investigate the emot-topics differences of different achievement levels of students, and examine the dynamics of emot-topics over course weeks to gain some insights about the relationship between time, emotion and learning achievement. The tracking of emot-topics could be valuable if users are informed of what students are concerned about and how these topics evolve in courses.

In- probabilistic BM25, term frequency normalization is one of the key components. It is often controlled by parameters k(1) and b, which need to be optimized for each given data set. In this paper, we assume and show empirically that term frequency normalization should be specific with query length in order to optimize retrieval performance. Following this intuition, we first propose a new term frequency normalization with query length for probabilistic information retrieval, namely BM25(QL). Then BM25(QL) is incorporated into the state-of-the-art models CRTER2 and LDA-BM25, denoted as CRTER2QL and LDA-BM25(QL) respectively. A series of experiments show that our proposed approaches BM25(QL), CRTER2QL and LDA-BM25(QL) are comparable to BM25, CRTER2 and LDA-BM25 with the optimal b setting in terms of MAP on all the data sets.

The trend of using Learning Cyber Space is now rapidly expanding in China, which is expected to change the teaching and learning mode in primary and secondary school. Teachers' usage plays a key role in promoting the LCS. However, the teachers' registering rate of LCS is relatively high while the actual usage rate is low. The purpose of this study is to verified factors including learning resource, user-interface and function, perceived ease of use that affected primary school teachers' use of LCS. The result shown that user-interface and function and perceived ease of use have significant influence on the primary school teachers' use of LCS. Perceived ease of use was found as the most significant factor for usage of primary school teachers' LCS. Learning resource, however, has little impact on the primary school teachers' use of LCS. Implications of this finding are also discussed, which could provide some suggestions for the future development of LCS.

With the rapid development of ICT and the increasing emphasis on ICT in education in many countries, ICT in teaching has become more and more significant. The related studies of supporting environment of ICT in university teaching mainly focused on the current situation and improvement strategies. They seldom studied the composition of supporting environment of ICT in university teaching from a systematic perspective. And a unified system model of supporting environment was scarce. The study divided the supporting environment of ICT in teaching into three categories of hardware environment, software environment and potential environment by analyzing the environmental factors of ICT in Chinese university teaching, and built the evaluation model of supporting environment of ICT in university teaching. Based on the model, the study evaluated the construction of supporting environment of ICT in teaching of the selected university in China to help make decisions for development of ICT in university teaching. This study could provide some reference for the related research and development of supporting environment of ICT in Chinese university teaching.

摘要:
In this paper, we present a computer-assisted teaching system for digital signal recognition using the computer as an interactive partner in problem solving activities. The software is designed to help students solve problems according to their own decision, or those arranged by their instructor. It can be used as a tool for digital signal course learning, spectrum recognition training, optical data processing, and providing feedbacks and advice upon request. The system includes an interactive interface, a spectrum simulator for graphical display of students' spectrum, a database which contains data of chemical groups and related information. The results showed that the developed system was effective in improving students' ability in spectrum interpretation.

With the popularity of the Internet and information technology in education, a growing number of studies have been conducted on its influence on academic achievement, and further attention has been paid to the influence of gender factors. Through the structural equation model, this study used Internet self-efficacy as a mediator to compare and analyze the direct and indirect effects of the ICT competency and the network interaction on the mathematical achievement of the students of different gender. The result shows that the direct effects of male students' ICT competency and mathematical achievement are negative and significant, while female students are not. The direct effects of ICT competency and network interaction on mathematical achievement of male and female students were all negative. However, during the adjustment factor of Internet self-efficacy, the indirect effects were positive and significant. It could be seen the crucial role of Internet self-efficacy between technical use and mathematical achievement. Teachers should attach importance to the current situation of male students' Internet reverse use. At the same time, they should also pay attention to the cultivation of Internet self-efficacy of male and female students, so that technology can better help students improve their mathematical achievement.

摘要:
This paper presents an algorithm for understanding problems from circuit schematics in exercise problems in physics at secondary school. This paper models the problem understanding as a problem of extracting a set of relations that can be used to solve problems with enough information. The challenges lie in not only analyzing the circuit schematics but also extracting the proper relations for a given exercise problem. To face these challenges a novel approach is proposed to detect circuit nodes with their current flows to extract the current equations for nodes. And the other novel approach is proposed to extract voltage equations of independent loops. The proposed approach was tested with a dataset collected from the text books and the exam papers for the students at secondary schools. Experimental results show that the effect of recognition and analysis we designed delivers promising result, and our approach can be adapted to more complex electrical circuit analysis.

Mobile devices for education expand the limitation of learning environment and promote the infusion of physical space, resource space and community space. It is the inevitable outcome by the combination of mobile computing technology and digital learning technology, and an important approach to learn as the development of ICT in education. The study proposed a conceptual model to analysis students' intention of using mobile devices in learning. Based on the hypothesis and a survey questionnaire of 271 students from middle school in eastern China, the results show that both perceived responsiveness and self-efficacy emerged as predictors of the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. The most significant effect on users' continuance intention is perceived ease of use, next are perceived usefulness and perceived responsiveness. The model accounts for approximately 61.2% of the variance of behavioral intention, and the research results indicated that improvement of self-efficacy of students is obviously benefit for the use of mobile devices in middle school.
摘要:
Extracting algebraic relations from a given circuit image is still a challenge task due to the complex topology of considered circuit. This paper presents an approach for extracting algebraic relations from circuit images through producing a set of atomic topologies from the complex topology of a given circuit. In which, algebraic relations, in form of a set of equations involving voltage, current and resistance relations from atomic topologies that is obtained by an iteratively operation of transforming a complex series/parallel connection into a series of atomic connection topology breaking down and shrinking. The extracted algebraic relations can be used to solve the exercise problem described by the circuit. Experimental results on 20 exercise problems show that the proposed algorithm can obtain a complete set of algebraic relations that can be used to solve the given problem. Further experiments conducted on a dataset of 200 scanned circuit images from the text books and exam papers demonstrate the proposed algorithm is the robustness and effectiveness.

In order to improve the immersiveness and scene reality of current virtual simulation experiments, a haptic feedback-based design Stereoscopic virtual simulation resource construction scheme was designed, which is based on constructivism learning theory and situated cognition theory and takes advantage of VR technology combined with haptic feedback and binocular stereoscopic display technology And the experiment was validated by seed germination experiments in Middle School Experiment Teaching. The results show that students' interest in learning can be stimulated and the learners' behaviors and feelings can be satisfied.

Considering complex content and lacking of guidance in virtual simulation experiments, the key event technology in VR narrative theory was introduced for virtual simulation experiment to enhance fidelity and vividness process. Based on the VR narrative technology, an event transition structure was designed to meet the need of experimental operation process, and an interactive event processing model was used to generate key events in interactive scene. The experiment of” margin value of bees foraging” based on Biologic morphology was taken as an example, many objects, behaviors and other contents were reorganized. The result shows that this method can enhance the user’s experience and ensure experimental process complete and effectively.

Nowadays, various techniques have been combined increasingly and applied into blended learning to improve students' learning outcomes. Based on a teaching practice of Modern Education Technology course in a normal college, this study was to analyze the complementary relationship between MOOCs and flipped classroom in teaching, and explore students' perception of this new teaching method so as to point out the challenges that this type of teaching method would face. A total of 158 students participated in this study, and both quantitative and qualitative research methods were adopted. Results from this study, on the one hand, students hoped to benefit from the teaching environment integrated with technology; on the other hand, the students' original learning habits and perspectives formed in their previous learning experience prevent them from quickly adapting to the new teaching method. What's more, the results showed that the main challenge of this teaching method was that the classroom environment couldn't provide immediate feedback to students. Concludes with recommendations that educators should teach students to solve the above-mentioned problems so as to contribute to more prominent advantages of new technologies.

As the internet wave swept the world, "Internet plus education" came into being. Smart campus design and construction has since become a research hotspot. The Campus Information Portal (CIP) plays an increasingly important role in the management of smart campuses. That is why, conducting a comprehensive evaluation study on the construction level of campus information portals is necessary. By combining CIP's own characteristics and incorporating intelligent needs, a comprehensive evaluation index system for CIP was developed. An Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was used to determine index weights, while a Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE) was used to calculate the quantitative scores of the evaluation objects. We selected 10 representative Chinese universities for a comprehensive CIP evaluation and experimental analysis. We analyze the final results of the study, evaluate the validity of our process and methods and finally provide guidance for the construction of a smart campus information portal.

Many studies utilizing review information to overcome the rating data sparsity obstacle in recommender systems because its abundant information and outstanding explainability. These methods consider reviews as attributes for users and items. They using aggregated review texts from a user and aggregated review texts for an item to model user and item respectively. However, on the one hand, reviews are actually a kind of interactive feature. The item-related features will be incorporated when modeling users by reviews and the same goes for modeling items. On the other hand, it's a serious challenge for them to build accurate item features because of the reviews are from a lot of users who have different preference. The same goes for building user features with all user's reviews. So it is more efficient to use review information to model the interaction characteristics between users and items. In this paper, we propose a collaborative filtering (CF) framework, Dual-Prior Reviewbased Matrix Factorization (DPRMF), a model integrates review information into probabilistic matrix factorization (PMF) model. DPRMF using convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to generate the review text information vector and considering the review information a prior constraint of interaction between user and item. Extensive experiments on benchmark datasets of Amazon and Yelp on different domains show that the proposed DPRMF model consistently outperforms the state-of-the-art review-based recommendation approaches, including PMF, HFT, DeepCoNN and NARRE. In addition, we use word-level vector weights in the embedding layer of our CNN architecture, which help us visualize the reviews and interpretate our model more intuitive.

With the development of Internet communication equipment, educational resources are rapidly accumulating on the Internet. While learners enjoy the convenience of the information age, they often face problems such as "resource disorientation" and "learning theme drift". As the most effective personalized recommendation technology, collaborative filtering is mainly based on the dual relationship between learners and resources. This paper utilizes the association of learners, knowledge points, and learning resources to construct associated matrix of the learners, knowledge points and learning resources. It introduces the related knowledge information into user similarity calculation and scoring prediction of traditional collaborative filtering algorithm, which can make the recommendation results conform to learners' learning needs and improve the recommendation quality of personalized recommendation.

M-learning has flourished in the field of education, and it has become an important element of educational technology. To explore the developing trends in mobile learning, this study used t-tests and ANOVA to explicate the effects of different grades, genders and parents' educational levels on the degree of students' satisfaction with m-learning. Then stepwise multiple regression analysis was used to predict the factors influencing m-learning satisfaction (SA). The results showed that gender differences did not have a significant impact on satisfaction, but the differences in grades and parents' education levels did. In addition, it was found that perceived usefulness and behavioral intention can be used as positive predictors of satisfaction with mobile learning. Finally, this paper puts forward some suggestions to improve users' satisfaction with m-learning.
