摘要:
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE: This study aims to understand the reciprocal relationships among acceptance of disability, attitudes toward disability, and coping among Chinese adolescents with visual impairments. RESEARCH DESIGN: Adolescents with visual impairments (N(T1) = 311, N(T2) = 170) from four Chinese special education schools completed three questionnaires twice over 1 year. Cross-lagged panel modeling was carried out to analyze the questionnaire data. RESULTS: The findings revealed that attitudes toward disability and self-directed coping at Time 1 (T1) positively predicted acceptance of disability at Time 2 (T2). Self-directed coping at T1 positively predicted attitudes toward disability at T2, and attitudes toward disability at T1 negatively predicted relinquished-control coping at T2. CONCLUSION/IMPLICATIONS: Visually impaired adolescents' attitudes toward disability and coping serve as antecedents of their acceptance of disability. There is a positive reciprocal relationship between coping and attitudes toward disability. Psychological interventions aimed at optimizing psychosocial adjustment among students with visual impairments may benefit from targeting coping strategies and attitudes toward disability. 摘要:
With the increasing number of people suffering from heart failure, ventricular assist devices have gradually become an effective way to treat end-stage heart failure. However, the blood damage caused by ventricular assist devices has not been effectively solved, which is an obstacle to its clinical promotion. Most research focused on erythrocyte damage under shear stress, while few researches were conducted on the interaction between blood under shear stress and the induction of von Willebrand factor(VWF) damage. This research used a vortex oscillator blood-shearing platform to conduct in vitro experiments and used immunoblotting to quantify VWF damage in sheared samples to study the laws of shear-induced VWF damage under different shear stress, different exposure times, different blood components, and hemolysis conditions. It was found that VWF damage increased with exposure time and shear stress. At the same time, under lower shear stress, other blood components had little effect on VWF damage, while in a higher shear stress, other blood components would accelerate VWF damage. Hemolysis will also affect VWF damage, and the higher the degree of hemolysis, the higher the rate of VWF degradation in the plasma. The results of this research provide a reference for VWF damage evaluation standards and follow-up research and also guide for improving the design of ventricular assist devices to reduce VWF damage.

摘要:
In the current information age, SNSs (Social Network Sites) have been popular among young adolescents, and have also become a main manner to maintain social relationships. Against this background, based on relevant evidence, the present study aimed to examine the association between positive self-disclosure on SNSs and adolescents’ friendship quality, as well as the underlying mechanism—the potential mediating role of perceived positive feedback and the moderating role of social anxiety. A sample of 1713 adolescents aged 11 to 19 was recruited to participate in this study, to complete a set of scales. Results indicated that positive self-disclosure on SNSs was positively associated with adolescents’ friendship quality, and positive feedback significantly mediated the association between self-disclosure positivity and friendship quality. This mediating effect, moderated by social anxiety, could significantly moderate the mediating effect of positive feedback; specifically, compared with higher social anxiety adolescents, the association between positive self-disclosure and positive feedback was stronger among individuals with lower social anxiety. These findings may expand previous studies, with several theoretical and practical implications.
